Well this is a big question that been hunting me for a long time. Obtaining classes for acting maybe can help you or can't. Who knows?

yes it does help, even famous actors now still go through training to perfect their craft, well they do it to improve their skills and some need the classes to do certain roles. you still need the coaching because you will more likely get hired for jobs than if you don't take acting classes. and agents and casting directors love to see that on your resume because they want to make sure you know what youre doing in front of a camera and no how to take direction as well. Acting classes help you in a variety of ways.

Also improv classes (which is an acting class) are good for commercial auditions because you will need to know how to improvise like have imaginary objects around you because most of the time you wont have that at a casting, when you improvise your not suppose to think, and never say no. you take an idea and make it into something big, thats what my acting coach tells me all the time. And good cold reading and scene study classes are good too.
Molli,

You're absolutely right! I've learned sooo much from my acting classes then i did when i had started acting. And I think it shows it on my videos.

Thanks !
