The video sharing social network for actors and aspiring actors to share their acting performances and make a few friends.

Upload your monologue performances, theater performances, acting auditions, TV/Film demo reels, voice-over videos and basically anything that showcases your acting abilities.

HMA was created to draw together all the actors & aspiring actors, young and old, experienced and non-experienced to actually socialize with each other, give each other advice, support, and learn from each other.

One way of getting discovered is by uploading videos of yourself acting (not guaranteeing it, but if you're lucky it could happen). So go get in front of your webcam, camcorder (use a tripod if you have one) start acting and upload your acting videos. The quality doesn't have to be professional, but good enough so that people can see and hear you clearly... unless you're solely a mime artist :)

I encourage all of you to rate and comment on each others videos. But DO NOT be rude. Constructive criticism only. But don't over do the constructive criticism either :/

The difference between this actors social network and others, is that at this time you will not find any listings for casting calls here (maybe in the future). Why? well because there is a need for a social network where there's actual socializing going on - a place to network and develop real friendships with others who share the same passion for acting as much as you do. Hopefully the friendship will last way beyond your days in Hollywood or Broadway.

But although there may not be any casting notices here yet, as this social network grows, your chances of getting discovered by a casting director, producer, etc. get a whole lot better. So help this network grow.
